Hey hey! I forgot all about updating this blog, which should be fine since nobody was reading anyway.
Here's the deal about Magic Formula however (I had written a long blog post regarding this back in 2014 which I didn't publish!) I read Joel Greenblatts "The little book that (still) beats the market" (link opens up another window to Amazon.com where you can buy this book) back in 2014 and decided to give his investment strategy a try. I've done a variation of his strategy by using a correlation matrix I built out of the equity I have and which I consider adding to my portfolio.
But here's the result after roughly 2,5 years after starting. Please note that portfolio was pretty much left unattended in spring of 2015 and managing resumed in November 2016 which I use as an excuse for my poor performance.
